It all started with a leaf

The original plan was to identify family in the funeral home. We don't always know them, but we want to pay condolence to them. A leaf was the perfect representation of the family tree. It was lovely for a lady, but handsome for a gentleman. 

What happened next was a heartwarming surprise. 

The family loved having their loved one close to them. So, they continued to wear the pin, to keep their companionship. When someone commented on their pin, they were given the opportunity to share its meaning, as well as the love for someone special. 

We saw an opportunity to do something more. 

This pin can easily be mistaken for jewelry. There must be a way to maintain the beauty in the symbolism of our family tree, yet draw attention to it having meaning.

Can we find a way to cause more conversation and allow the grieving an outlet to talk about who is in their heart and constantly on their mind?

And so, we added a heart, to show that those on our tree still hold our heart. 

The affection we hold for others, remains.
